FINALLY
Blogger was down for the whole of yesterday, so couldn't do any, so here I am.
Thursday's papers were pretty okay I guess. Mother Tongue paper 2 was unexpectedly easy, bar that one compre question I didn't understand and throwing darts for the whole zonghe, it went pretty well, much better than the HCL one anyway -wink-. Geography...was a hand killer. I swear I've never written so much in such a short time before. The last time was 8 pages in 2 hours bullcrapping for SOVA, but now I managed to scribble 12 full pages in 1.5 hour, and man did my hand ache after that. In fact, it's still hurting now. Glad these two papers are over and hope I at least score decently for geog, or I can kiss my humans goodbye, and I didn't stay up till 3 in the morning for a bad result either.
Yesterday's Emaths paper was, as expected, much harder and more tedious than paper 1. Well the fact it makes up 55.56% of the whole score means i had to do well. Unfortunately, no, I didn't.
No. 1: Mental block at the circles question on proving that the radius was 5 1/3cm. -2
No. 2: Misreading the gradient of the line to be 1/2 instead of -1/2. -2
No. 3: Other presentation or careless mistakes. Potentially -10
So I'm expecting an 85/100 for this paper. Hope it goes above 90 when added with my paper 1. Getting below 90 for a VS Emaths Prelims doesn't show a very good sign on how I'm going to do at the big O's. However, I'm confident in the A1 at least, as in over 75, it's just the question of how the marks translate in O's that's getting everyone so worried and worked up about scoring so high.

If you were with after school everyday (like Benedict heh) you would've heard me say "Let's go watch Thor!" for about 5 times this week already. It was just a joke it's a way I get the stress out of my system - by just spouting nonsense. But yesterday, with the catalysts in the form of Khairul and the timely arrival of bus service 27, we went ahead and did it anyway. Had an awesome time eating at Wendy's and watching the movie, heck I even took a snapshot of the weird Korean ad they were showing before the movie started (refer above). And LOL there's going to be a Winnie the Pooh movie soon, and I know a certain someone would like it hahaha.
Physics and Bio coming up, and these are my 2 strongest subjects, other than Emaths, so getting anything below an A1 is not an option. The thing is, I haven't started and I really have to put everything together this weekend. I'm tired of last minute work, even though it worked out pretty well for Chem. Amaths is just practice practice practice, but honestly the main worry is the time limit of 2 hours. Well, I can only pray that everything goes well.
On the bright side, prelim means that we get our butts out of school in the morning and don't have to suffer the pain that is post-exam activities. We still have some anyway, and I'm really looking forward to the 4.8km cross country run on the 25th and the Workshop on 26th. It's going to be awesome. Oh, anyone mention Mother Tongue O's? Another 8 papers to go, which means I just passed the halfway mark (17 papers) so I gotta keep the going strong (:
